About Education Ecosystem

Education Ecosystem is a decentralized ecosystem for learning about new technologies and trying them out hands-on using free practical projects. We are like GitHub on video and are building the world’s biggest learning ecosystem for developers, starting with the six topics: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, game development, data science, cryptocurrencies and programming.
The main participants in the ecosystem are project creators, viewers, moderators, API developers and developer-focused companies. Project creators create educational projects and are paid monthly, lifelong royalty fees as viewers learn from their projects. We offer developer-focused companies Developer-Relations-as-a-Service (DRaaS) automation, which enables them to reach their target audience in the most cost-effective way.
As of 2018, there were 23 million developers globally. This number is expected to reach 27.7 million by 2023 as the demand for software developers continues to rise. Demand for developers is high, as well as for developer-focused products. GitHub was acquired by Microsoft for $7.5B and GitLab has a current valuation of around $1.1B. These valuations validate the size of the DevOps market (set to reach $12.8B by 2025) and the potential opportunity available for developer-focused products.

The Product

Education Ecosystem is a project-based learning platform where developers can discover new technologies and try them out hands-on using free practical project examples.
Viewers use practical projects to learn how to build products from the fields of artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, game development, cybersecurity, data analytics and programming.
Content on our platform is organized around projects. Each project consists of a livestream channel, a video channel, a live chat window and a Git repository. Projects are created with the sole intention of teaching viewers. They are fully narrative, structured, contain well-drafted project descriptions and have project resources which can be downloaded or cloned using the Education Ecosystem Git repository.

Projects
Projects are created with the sole intention of teaching viewers. They are fully narrative, structured and contain well-drafted project descriptions. The creation of projects undergoes a strict content moderation process to ensure the highest quality standard.

An interactive live chat is available during livestreams for communication between project creators and viewers. Viewers can ask questions, give suggestions for improvement and also socialize with other learners.

How it works?

Content on Education Ecosystem is organized around projects. Viewers learn on our platform by watching projects where their peers build real products. Education Ecosystem covers six topics: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, game development, data science, cryptocurrencies and programming. Each of these six topics contains its own sub-categories. The platform is powered by LEDU tokens and each positive activity a viewer, project creator, site moderator or API developer completes is rewarded with LEDU tokens. The Education Ecosystem Token Utility Model shows how LEDU tokens are used on our platform.
Education Ecosystem uses the proof-of-work concept for issuing tokens on our platform. Each positive activity a viewer, project creator, site moderator or ecosystem participant completes is rewarded with LEDU tokens. LEDU tokens are fully integrated into Education Ecosystem as a way to reward project creators, positive viewer behavior, site moderators and API developers. The Education Ecosystem Token Utility Model chart below, shows how LEDU tokens are used on our platform. All new and existing Education Ecosystem users are assigned a LEDU token wallet. Each user receives a small token amount as a starting balance. For each new user that creates an account on site, a wallet is automatically generated to store their tokens. The wallet is also used for incoming and outgoing user token transactions.
